Ford documentation describes the car as having been delivered to Paul Harvey Ford of Indianapolis. Information received from the current owner:

As an automotive enthusiast for many years, my appreciation of the 135 cars was sparked by Ford’s strong commitment in 1968 to use street performance to market their new products. The 135 cars validated Cobra Jet production for drag racing, and the Cobra Jet engine did the rest by dominating several classes at the 1968 Winternationals.

Car 013 originally came from Paul Harvey Ford. I purchased it in 2000, and it had been street driven for 70,000 miles. It was very tired and has lost some of the vital parts I would need to return it to original condition. The motor was out of it and the carb was missing. Both rear quarters would need replacing, but the floor was good. I contracted the work to well-known restoration specialist Randy DeLisio in New York. He replaced the quarters, the interior, and did the base/clear coat paint. The car sits on F70 tires with the production steel wheels and dog dish hubcaps.
